Ó TO DO

“ó Fàre”, “the lighthouse” in the Apulian Gargano dialect, is the name of the renovation and re-functionalization project of the pre-existing lighthouse in the coastal area of the island of San Domino into a hotel. It is located in an isolated context, overlooking the sea, immersed in uncontaminated nature with a high landscape value.
The basic concept is to establish a changing and constant dialogue between the interior spaces of the boutique hotel and the surrounding landscape. The aim is to convey not only the essence of the historic structure, but also an aura of innovation and attention to detail, therefore the spaces are covered with minimal elements, with neutral furnishings, trying to capture all the possible brightness from the pre-existing windows. In each room the tradition of the materials merges with contemporary design, aiming to enhance the beauty of minimalism that marries the imperfection of the finishes and the local rusticity.
